A special all-season transmission hydraulic mineral oil for hydraulic systems, transmissions and gearboxes (including power shift gearboxes), existing gearboxes of other equipment to off-road equipment with and without low load brakes (clutches). It meets the strict Cat TO-4 requirements of the TDTO (Transmission/Drive Train Oil) lubricants imposed by Caterpillar. The specification determines the operational requirements for hydraulic fluids for their use in CAT equipment.

Properties

• It cannot be used as engine oil.
• A special blend of additives ensures prolonged life of wet brake and clutch friction discs. It prevents clutch and transmission slippage and reduces the need for adjustment to a minimum.
• A replacement with Caterpillar TO-2 is possible.
• A high-purity mineral base of the highest quality with the addition of the latest additive package with an ideal viscosity over a wide temperature range ensures reliable operation of subsystems and mechanisms under any conditions and allows significant fuel savings.
• Due to its unique composition, it provides excellent wear protection properties, extending the expected service life of technical equipment in all, even the most extreme operating modes, in a variety of ambient temperatures.
• It ensures excellent low-temperature properties, allowing easy starting of hydraulic subsystems at different ambient temperatures (down to -30 °C) and under various operating conditions.
• It has unique oxidation stability and excellent resistance to thermal degradation by high temperatures, thus extending oil change interval and reducing equipment maintenance costs.
• It has excellent cleaning properties and provides effective protection against sludge and abrasive deposits that destroy seals.
• By using state-of-the-art corrosion inhibitors, it successfully protects metal parts from all types of corrosion. It protects parts from oxidation and rusting. It minimizes the formation of carbon and dirt deposits even when operating under high humidity conditions. It extends the equipment’s service life.
• It offers excellent compatibility with sealing materials, preventing swelling, hardening, and shrinking, thus reducing spare part costs and preventing leaks.
• It reduces noise.
• It is not recommended to mix the oil with other types of hydraulic and engine oils.

It is intended for off-road (construction, quarry, mining, agriculture) and special equipment (tractors, loaders, bulldozers, excavators, etc.) built by European, American, and Asian manufacturers when the required operational properties are TO-4 or lower with a corresponding viscosity grade.
