Product information "MANNOL Fix-Gewinde hochfest thread fix"

Fix-Thread High Strength (50 ml) – a tool for securing all types of threads (strong fixation): bolts, nuts, studs, screws, etc. Prevents the self-loosening of fasteners due to increased load and vibrations. Suitable for all threaded connections in cars, motorcycles, trucks as well as in industry and everyday life. It can be used for sealing threads and narrow gaps and as a corrosion inhibitor.

 

Properties

  • Prevents loosening and secures metallic threaded connections up to M20 in diameter
  • Completely fills thread gaps, seals them and prevents the leakage of oil, water, fuel, technical fluids, and air as well as corrosion
  • Withstands high loads and vibrations: Applicable in engines, gearboxes
  • Suitable for securing bearings, support studs, pins, and plugs
  • Withstands a torque of up to 38 N·m on M10 threads
  • Operating temperature range from -60 °C to +150 °C
  • Applicable on greasy surfaces and on threads with electroplated coatings

Application

Apply evenly to the bolt and nut. The connection is fixed after 10-20 minutes and fully cured after 1-3 hours. Curing occurs with insufficient air supply (the product is anaerobic).
