Accessibility Statement

1. Introduction

motor-oel.guenstig.de GmbH is committed to making www.motor-oel-guenstig.de as accessible as possible in accordance with the German Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and EU Directive 2019/882. This accessibility statement applies to the above-mentioned website.

2. Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and EN 301 549.

The partial compliance is due to systemic limitations of the currently deployed shop system. An accessibility-optimized successor platform based on Shopware 6 is already in development.

In addition to internal measures, we employ an accessibility assistance tool by designverign that allows users to individually adjust font size, font type, contrast, and other display options.

3. Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared on June 18, 2025. The assessment is based on a self-evaluation using, among others, recommended testing tools:

• Checkmeister.com - Evaluation – listed in the tool collection linked by bund.de from w3.org
• Color Contrast Checker – recommended on bund.de

This statement is regularly reviewed and updated as needed.

4. Non-accessible Content

Despite extensive testing and implemented optimizations, the following known limitations currently exist:

• Individual third-party components (e.g., cookie consent tools) contain incomplete labeling and role-based assignments.
• Some HTML structures have limited semantic accessibility, particularly for screen reader users.
• Isolated color contrasts and font sizes do not yet fully comply with recommended standards.

We have already contacted the respective providers for all external content, and corrective measures have been initiated. Internal adjustments are being implemented and should be completed by the time the BFSG takes effect. Should this not be fully possible in individual cases, implementation will proceed gradually and as promptly as possible.
